  • More warm greetings and shy smiles are heading your way as you exit the Airport and have some downtime in Negombo in a matter of minutes.

Sri Lanka’s iconic coastal life destination features picturesque lagoons, luxury seaside resorts, daring watersports and a hint of salty breeze that support your relaxation and leisure needs.

  • Overnight in Negombo.
  • Pay a visit to one of medieval Sri Lanka’s ephemeral capitals in the morning.

Yapahuwa is home to a well-preserved, historic rock fortress – tranquil and full of ancient vibes.

  • Enjoy an evening game drive at Minneriya or Kaudulla National parks.

Which park is available to visit depends on the season, but both Minneriya and Kaudulla are within easy reach of Dambulla.

  • Overnight in Dambulla.
  • Leave to visit the Sigirya Rock Fortress with packed breakfast or an early breakfast.

Climb Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site, constructed by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD) in the 5th century. The ‘Lion Rock’ is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle.

  • After descending, enjoy a local boat ride in the lake near by. Thereafter a short trek will take you through the village, their farming lands giving you the opportunity to have a glimpse of local life.
  • Later return to hotel for overnight in Dambulla.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhalese kingdom.
  • Visit a spice garden at Matale en-route.
  • Arrive in Kandy and check in.
  • Walk through the market, around the lake and along the city paths enjoying the peacefulness which is associated with this city in the Hill Country.

Free time for shopping. You may visit a gem museum, a batik shop and a wood carving center.

  • At sunset head to the remarkable Temple of the Tooth to attend an evening ceremony – an experience like no other.
  • Overnight in Kandy.
  • This morning you hop on aboard a train and head to the one-time British hill station of Nuwara Eliya.

A land of lush tea plantations, majestic peaks and attractive tea bungalows.

The British built the Railway System in Sri Lanka back in 1864 for coffee and tea transportation between Colombo and Hill Country. Railway connects the biggest cities in Sri Lanka and offers several classes for all kinds of travelers.

  • Enjoy a brisk walk at Lake Gregory.
  • Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.
  • Day one of our CSR Project.

Experience, connect, play alongside local schoolboys and schoolgirls in their village school and maybe have a small English teaching session or two!

The kids are quite shy and nervous at first sight, but it only takes a few minutes for them to get into their playful senses.

We end the programme with a small donation to the library and a computer for a local lab development project.

  • Today you travel to the south-east of Sri Lanka.

A rural corner of the island famous for its huge game reserves, vast sugar cane and paddy fields, and rich cultural heritage.

The Nine Arches Bridge is one of the iconic bridges in Sri Lanka and can be found between Ella and Demodara railway stations.

  • Check in to hotel.
  • Overnight at Tiisamaharama.
  • If conditions permit and you are ready to wake up early morning a morning game drive at Yala National Park can be arrange.
  • Alternatively by late morning, you travel along the south coast to the historic city of Galle.

Opt for the new motorway or amble along a beautiful coastline and grab lunch by the beach along the way.

  • Check in to hotel.
  • Overnight in Galle.
  • Enjoy an independent exploration or a guided walk at Galle Fort and learn the history and architectural features.

Galle Fort is a magnet for tourists eager to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hours can be spent exploring a maze of narrow streets lined with a collection of small art and craft shops, cafes and beautiful boutique hotels.

  • Leisure for the rest of the day.
  • Overnight in Galle.
  • Transferred to beach town of Bentota to wine down the tour with a relaxing time by the ocean.
  • Take the chance to learn about the ancient art of Sri Lankan puppet making and the history that they represent on the way.
  • Check in to hotel.
  • Overnight at Bentota.
  • After breakfast, leave for Colombo International Airport.
